  1. Microwaves do NOT cook things from the middle first. That’s an old wives tale that is just stupid. The waves excite the water molecules that they contact first….which is the surface of every single item you put in it. That’s absurd. Use your brain!

  2. Crispy Skin Baked Russet Potatoes, poke holes in each potato
    Place a wire rack on top of a baking sheetpan.
    Potato Brine
    1/2 cup water
    2 tablespoons salt
    Mix well, then roll potatoes in the brine.
    Place the brined potatoes on the wire rack. Bake @ 450°F for 45 minutes to an hour, or until internal temp reaches 205°F. Remove from oven, brush with vegetable oil, bake 10 minutes more.
    Topping
    4 ounces goat cheese
    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    2 tablespoons parsley
    1 teaspoon shallot
    1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

  3. I love roasted sweet potatoes 🍠 not really regular potatoes. I brush mine with olive oil but no brining. I thought brining was out. I don’t think my oven goes to 450 lol but I am going to try this! I love chili topped potatoes
