American version of Bubble & Squeak minus cooked cabbage, carrots, etc..
Why does it take less time on the second side? JW
These people are obviously not southern cooks. Lol
That cook books recipes are more work than it’s worth.
Most are a lot of work. This potato recipe was the easiest one they found in the book.
I literally can cook any food you throw at me outdoors, and in doors.
The bbq pit boys are the prime example of simple as simple can get when it comes to cooking.
Most people cook in kitchen, not many are willing to cook outside because work and life does not permit it.
The test kitchen here is a prime example as well that cooking can be enjoyable once you narrow down you recipe😁
can the potato cakes be breaded ahead of time to cook the next day??
I’ve had these with crema, “Pappas con Crema”, at a restaurant and are so delicious.. would you recommend adding cream cheese or extra heavy cream? Would they stay together? This is the closest I’ve found to them..
Love these ladies been . A fan for years atk
I didn't want to fry mine… so I baked them at 450 for 12 minutes and they were perfect!
Made something similar but I sub in some chopped up fresh jalapeños, and instead of parm I add freshly grated cotija cheese and a hand full queso chihuahua, it’s also delicious!
Why do Americans make everything so complicated!…EG. You had room for 6 patties in that pan. Or even better, make one big one, and turn it with a plate, and then cut portion sizes. Result, no wasted oil, or time to discard it or dump it..,.Also, you put just enough oil in to fry…
great job, u did so good, except sour cream isnt that good, i prefer gravy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love it! Will prepare this yummy recepie for my lunch! Thank you chef!
That's so yummy 😋 😍 👌👍🏻

Ecuadorians make the best potato cakes…
Loved your guys chemistry!
These look delicious!!!
just don't have the same left overs 5 night in a row
Looks delicious.
I tried making this the other day and honestly it wasn't very good and most certainly not the Best as the title suggests. Maybe using a different potato, like a red potato, or Yukon Gold would be better, along with adding some butter. The crust on the outside was fine but the middle was left a lot to be desired.
Looks awesome! We just processed a ton of potatoes from our garden. I will use avocado oil, as it's much much healthier than seed oils aka vegetable oils (10 x worse than sugar for the arteries according to Dr. Joseph Mercola and Dr. Eric Berg – and people wonder why they heart and liver problems.
Excellent ❤
I haven't got a skillet will a frying pan do ??
She didn’t fry them in enough oil. The sides are raw.

My Dad use to say there was no such thing as a bad tasting potatoe.
Easy and thought to add cheese before mashing potatoes cut a corner and all other ingredients as well ,for sure a go but will try the 30 minute frig to test for firmness and sake of time, maybe bacon or not but recipe was simple
I shall partake. Good video.
Oh my! My mother used to make these (just regular patties) almost once a week. Wonderful memories 💖
