Nice
Thank you!!
I love that recipe just love it ..
Looks & 'Smells' so GREAT!! Butter is Dairy. We keep Kosher What can we use in place of the butter?? PLEASE!
wheres that guy? I like this better where the ones doing the cooking are coloring the show.
All of the ingredients make so much sense! I'm definitely going to try this out. Thanks
Hi
barely any seasoning
We loved this garlic chicken recipe! Just know you need a couple hours to make it. Chicken needs to sit around a lot, lol. Mmm
I made this over the weekend and it was even better than I imagined. This is a rock solid recipe and the family now demands at least one day out of every month to be a garlic fried chicken night. Big thanks to everyone on the ATK team for working hard so I don't have to!
Awesome as always but I'd love to lose the lawyers who insist that they always specify they call out the hand washing. We know already.
Can you bake this recipe instead of frying? If so, at what temperature and how long?
Made this for my mother tonight. She said: "If I'm ever on death row, I want this as my last meal!" 🤣😳🤔
Tried out this chicken and hands down it turned the best chicken
Resting fried chicken on paper towel is a no no. It creates steam and soggy fried chicken.
Would that be considered toum sauce?
up to 2 hours…so, what happens beyond 2 hours? I know, I could test, but, come on you must have figured out why beyond 2 hours is not good, so why not tell us?
I’m super pissed. We just made this exactly like they did.
It was SO SALTY we had to throw away ALL of the chicken and the most anyone could eat was two bites. One of us spit it out and had to rinse.
The flavor was good but so incredibly salty it’s completely insane. Such a waste of food.
I just tried this recipe and made it exactly as shown. A bit too much garlic in the sauce. I would use half as much garlic. It was very tasty though.
This is good recipe, except I prefer to put the garlic butter sauce in a separate container. I like my fried chicken crispy, not soggy.
Other than a few go-to recipes I've been making for 20 years, I'm new to cooking anything that doesn't go in the microwave. Julia and Bridget made this look and sound so delicious I had to try it, even though I've never deep fried anything in my life.
Well, I took a bite and I swear Julia's voice came out of my mouth, but instead of 'oh my goodness' I said 'holy s*** this is the best thing I've ever tasted.' It really was. My guests agreed.
Crunchy chicken coating, that garlic and butter sauce – it was all perfect. And somehow, the garlic wasn't overwhelming.
Thank you Cook's Country and ATK!
Now to figure out how to keep my work area as clean as they do!
I’m wondering: will the 1st batch remain hot enough while the 2nd one is frying? Do you need to reheat the 1st batch? Thanks for this recipe, which looks really yummy!
I made this last night. Thank you so much for this recipe! Family loved it. Your instructions were clear concise and easy to follow.
You washed your hands, but not the chicken?
Can you bake this in the oven rather than frying?
In the fridge marinating. You girls are the best and funny you crack me up.🌹🌹
What I really need is a video on maintaining oil temperature. Can't do it on a gas stove to save my life.
what cookbook is this recipe in ?
Wow 😮 🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m about to make this recipe!
Looks tasty but that is way too much salt and pepper for my liking. Will definitely try this recipe but with only a quarter of the salt and pepper measurements mentioned. Thank you ladies and God bless.
where's Christopher Kimball?
Hey America’s Test Kitchen… please stop using plastic wrap… there’s got to be a bowl with a lid you can use, or put a plate on top! Thanks!
OH MY GOODNESS !!!!!!!!!! oh ya, this is a must try…
I love this show. Both "America's Test Kitchen" and "Cook's Country". After I moved I was not able to get PBS anymore. I started donating to PBS in hopes that I'd get access to these shows but no. So today I was pleasantly surprised to see this clip in my video list. I've subscribed and now I can go through their online library to watch all the shows I've missed. I especially love the "Equipment Reviews". I used to have the biggest crush on Bridget.
I’m DROOLING… 🤤
May I suggest a crisp, chilled pilsner-style lager as beverage of choice?
I learned so many frying tricks in this one episode alone!!
I've noticed since Chris left, the Test Kitchen seems a whole lot more relaxed and a great deal more fun to watch.
is this from a tv show or something? i still don't understand lol
Thanks for this nice receipe! It sounds yum..
omg just call it 'garlic powder.'
Can i have some chicken to my garlic please? xD
It looks delicious ladies but my God with the caloric intake here
Gosh darn it. Now I'm dying for fried chicken at 3 AM.
Who has a fridge big/empty enough for a wire rack of raw chicken?
Amazing!!
I have some questions,
Can the chicken coated in flour stay in the fridge for more than two hours? Up to how many hours/days can it stay in the fridge?
and, How long does the garlic butter last for if kept in the fridge?
Thanks!
