If it worked, why did you replace the empty cartridge in the lighter?
Unfortunately, I can’t get the butane into the reservoir. It just sprays everywhere. That’s with me pulling that small piece up. Still won’t go in.

I've tried this with three different lighters and all that happens is the puffs of gass shoot out the base of the nozzel instead of goin in the lighter. Are faulty butane cans a thing?
Thanks, couldn't figure out how to do it, didn't realize I had to drain ALL the air first, AND that the little hole for filling it doesn't even necessarily let you fill it without taking the plastic off first.
