  1. I use scissors. Hold sausage in my hand as shown in video and insert one blade of scissor at the end closest to my arm, and slide the scissors to the other end. I don’t have to worry about cutting myself and the scissors clean up easily.

  2. Hahaha don’t ever hold your knife in that position. ATK WTF? Also you don’t even need a knife to remove casings. Start in the middle of the sausage and squeeze like a toothpaste tube. Comes right out

  3. How to safely remove sausage casings, step 1: Hold them in exactly the orientation such that you cut straight into your hand if your knife slips at all

    but seriously, why not just put them down on a cutting board and slice through the casings like that? Makes a lot more sense to me as a "safe" method than cutting directly towards your hand.
