did I miss it? were the casings removed?
I use scissors. Hold sausage in my hand as shown in video and insert one blade of scissor at the end closest to my arm, and slide the scissors to the other end. I don’t have to worry about cutting myself and the scissors clean up easily.
I like to use the heel of my chef’s knife.
I usually like English accents.
They went to all the work of cleaning and filling those casings and if you don’t like them that way you could always buy Italian sausage unencased. 🤦♀️
Why not just use ground Italian sausage instead of an encased sausage?
We Italians already know how to take the meat out of a sausage, but we do a better job of putting the sausage we make our own into the casing
Or you can just squeeze the sausage out the ends.
I don't mean to be a troll, but is it really necessary to post a video on how to remove a sausage casing? There's several ways to do it, use your imagination.

Hahaha don’t ever hold your knife in that position. ATK WTF? Also you don’t even need a knife to remove casings. Start in the middle of the sausage and squeeze like a toothpaste tube. Comes right out

How to safely remove sausage casings, step 1: Hold them in exactly the orientation such that you cut straight into your hand if your knife slips at all
but seriously, why not just put them down on a cutting board and slice through the casings like that? Makes a lot more sense to me as a "safe" method than cutting directly towards your hand.

Add water to the sausage on low heat it will cook perfectly no high heat
Italian sausages are wonderful. Most all of them contain additives and preservatives which contain soy.
