  1. My daughter moved to fort worth I went to visitdrove almost seven hours…. We got a late start driving to the restaurant, got there? They were sold out almost everything.. So me and my 3 daughters decided to just go somewhere else. And we'll try it another time I have been regretting it every since. .. I didn't want to go there and not be able to try the brisket ribs or sides. And that day they were pretty much almost so doubt of everything… Damn it this video was not making it any easier for me ha ha.

  2. I am slowly making my way through the top 10 from the 2021 Texas Monthly: The 50 Best BBQ Joints list. I have now been to Goldee's (#1), Cattleack (#6), and Panther City (#10). I live in Dallas, so I started with Goldee's (#1). Here is some of what I wrote to some family about my visit on a Saturday in June, 2023:

    "We got in line at about 8:45am for the 11am opening. There were about 100 to 125 people in front of us. The first guy in line got there at 6am. It took until 12:30pm (so 1.5 hours) to make it to the counter to order after the doors opened at 11am. Nothing was sold out when we got to order…. I believe we could have arrived at 12 noon and done just fine. I think the only item that got sold out by the time we left [at about 1:15pm] was the banana pudding."

    I must say, having had the banana pudding–and never having liked banana pudding before–I would really, really hate to miss out on it. It was great. Still, to not have to wait in line for almost four hours and only miss out on the banana pudding wouldn't be too bad. I would make that trade off.

    I also wrote: "Everything was very good to great, but I will skip the Pork Belly next time." The Pork Belly was just too fatty for me.

    The brisket at Cattleack was the best I have ever had, but Goldee's is the best overall barbecue place I have ever been to. If it were a little closer to my house I would go there every week.

  3. One of my favorite parts of this video is I don’t see any sauce sitting on the table with you guys. More and more when I go to a barbecue joint, I want to try the meat as it was cooked and smoked without any addition of sauce. Everything looks amazing on that tray! I’ve never seen hash that color before but it looks tasty.

  4. Aaron Franklin needs to go here lol .. Also, I like how Jeremy tries to be funny but it ends up being kind of cringe which is awesome lol. And then you have Brad who is naturally funny.. then the guy in the middle… Daniel Vaughn seems a little stuck up buy his Springsteen concert tix 😄..Sorry for being so blunt but I love people watching haha.

  5. that editor thinks he knows so much more than the "2 youtubers" he's mistaken. Also his comment on always changing your menu is bogus. The some of the top BBQ places have been there for years and havnt changed their major recipes since day 1 and people come from all over the world for that flavor.

  6. I’m currently here in Rome, Italy with some of the best Italian food in the world but nothing makes my mouth water more than staring at that giant beef rib. The patience these guys have. I’d be attacking that thing first. That, the brisket look damn good. Really everything does, it’s clear to see why Goldee’s is the current reigning BBQ top dog. Yum.
