Remember, all Kobe beef is waygu but not all waygu is Kobe beef. Costco waygu isnt Kobe beef. As someone who had Kobe A5, it is pretty damn rich. Almost felt a little nauseous after I ate a 6oz Kobe steak.

So you wear a hat to keep hair from falling onto the meat. However you have a big ugly beard that probably drops all kinds of hairs into the meat. Cover you beard too.

That's why hybrid Wagyu can turn out horrible if the beef retained more Angus or whatever breed the beef had. In hybrid wagyu, its a lottery to know if you get wagyu fat or angus fat. With A5…..you get what you pay for… Worth it!!!
