I Tried 6 Celebrity Dessert Recipes—Here’s What’s Worth Baking (Taylor Swift, Snoop Dogg & More)

Ever wondered which celebrity dessert recipes are actually worth baking? In this video, Nicole cooks and reviews six star-studded sweets—from Taylor Swift’s cozy Chai Sugar Cookies to Snoop Dogg’s indulgent Buttermiziilk Pound Cake (yes, cake cake cake cake). Along the way, she ranks each recipe out of ten, sharing her thoughts on flavor, texture, and whether these treats live up to the hype.

She whips up Reese Witherspoon’s chocolatey Derby Pie, tries Benny Blanco’s no-fuss Banana Pudding, and bakes Willie Nelson’s classic Banana Bread. Al Roker’s holiday-ready Sweet Potato Poon gets a taste test, too, before Nicole closes things out with Snoop’s pound cake. Which desserts earn a permanent spot in her recipe box—and which fall flat? Watch to the end for her final verdict!

  1. The only celebrity who actually wrote a great cookbook is Tricia Yearwood, who wrote Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen with her mother and sister; when her mom passed the rest were written with her sister. Her cooking is a lot like Nicole's – comforting, uncomplicated, delicious. They're also mostly based on childhood dishes from both her and Garth's families, and recipes she developed to please her own family. And they all work.

  2. If your pecan pie is runny it's because you didn't cook it long enough. Pecan pie is a custard, but because of the excess sugar, you have to cook it longer than a standard custard. The target temperature of the middle of a pecan pie is 200°F. It won't be runny.

  3. Aussie here – we don't have banana pudding mix here, but we do have a vanilla. I was watching the pudding and thought I wonder how it would go with vanilla pudding and not banana and there you go. Nicole said it would be better like that, so I'll be doing it, looks delicious. Thank you

  4. Nicole, you only gave snoops recipe at 3.5 because you didn’t like it very well but everything tastes better when you’re smoking pot and that’s why snoop likes it so much, he gets the munchies and then eats it😂

  5. I love your videos but i have a little negative comment. You don't leave the written ingredients long enough! When you tell 3-4 ingredients very fast, you leave the written ingredients about 1/4th second so many times in this video i had to return 5 times to be able to write all the ingredients…

  6. Seems like anything made with buttermilk comes out more tender than when using regular milk. I'll make that pound cake recipe because I make buttermilk so I always have lots in my fridge, and the snacky-snackers in my house aren't picky especially when it comes to midnight snacks

  7. They all look delicious. The Best Banana bread I have made I used very ripe Bananas I had froze. When they defrost they let put some of their own "liquor" It comes out so moist and tastes amazing. I also would put flour on the chips to help keep them from dropping.
