  1. The first immersion blender I had, had holes near the top of the ‘bell’ part. If you even slightly lifted it up while still blending, you had the contents all over you and the kitchen. The 2nd one I bought had holes near the bottom of the ‘bell’. Works beautifully.

  2. Had a Ninja blender for years till it cracked. $60 just to replace the part that cracked. $20 immersion blender does everything we need it for, mostly smoothies and soups. And it's so much easier to clean.
