How to PERFECT Reverse Sear Steak: https://youtu.be/XZlUPe517LE?si=pF8sRW9WhduDZ-XT
awesome video…. what ratio do you use on your burgers?
I think there are three fatal flaws with the Pro version. 1. The lack of the tripod feet, 2. Sliding ash tray allows grease, ash, etc. to leak out of the bottom of the grill, and 3. the lack of access door to add more coals. I would rather have the old ash hopper than the tray. I think the grill needs another reboot and go back to the prior design.
where did you get the spautla
Thank you! I have had 2 of these grills!!! Thank You!!!
What kind of spatchula is that
Love your videos, today I get an off brand of the old lodge design in the mail. Don’t really like the flat bottom of the new design but overall it is a good product. Happy cooking
As nice as the grill looks, I was loving the Griswold spatula 0:06
I like the ash tray. Very good.
The other YouTuber video sight you referenced says to adjust the bolts that hold the bottom two pieces together to level this grill.
NO GRAVITY IT JUST SUCKS! " ROCKING IS FoR MUSIC : NOT GRILLS ( NEVER TIGHEN THE SCREWS OR DRILL TWO MORE MOUNTING HOLES : NEW: ONCE It WARPS U R S O L ! ) GREECE DRIPER ON THE ENDS & NO FEED DOOR ! MUST DROP FOOD IN DURT TO ADD FUEL! CHAIN YOUR OLD LSG TO THE SIDEWALK/ TREE/ SWIMING POOL OR : CLAYMORE? REPREHENSIBLE ~ TO BUY OFF SHORE COPIES OF THE REAL LSG THAT WAZ?
You're from Iowa. Ungyungs. lol
The fact that you put a vegetable oil on top of butter lost you points.
Would you recommend it as a tail gate grill to take daily or would you keep it as a table top grill at home also could you use small pieces of wood in it(obviously just for more smoke while having coal)
Thanks for the tips. Just got the Kickoff and I really like it. Only two pieces plus two handles. A little less cooking space, but enough for two to four pieces. What I like most is the coals last longer with less flare ups and a lower temperature at the grill top. Great for slow cooking larger pieces and perfect for things like kabobs. All in all, love both my lodge grills and all of their cookware. More tips please.
At 11:37 I see a huge crack in the grate.
I think the fire is still super hot for those steaks
They just made the worlds most high maintenance charcoal grill 🤣🤣🤣
Steaks look really good
my laws, that's a good looking steak.
Don't know if the best part of this video is the solid technical evaluation….or the inspirational music as the perfect steak is sliced…or the free burger tips . As for the new Lodge – some pros and cons with that odd entire sliding base – which has to serve as the vent adjustment as well. Fine as long as it slides smoothly, but the old side vent flap was simpler. For significantly less money, the Gigantex or the Ironmaster looks virtually as good. All these hibachi grills do an amazing job, can be moved, and take up minimal space on a deck or table. Much appreciate the product test.
Needs a cover of some type to block wind and increase cooking temp
I ain't never seen no one cut a piece of steak with an ax. That might be crossing the line a little bit 😕
Where did you get that spatula. Looks great
I’d prefer my old-school one back. Thank you very much.
I was thinking about getting one of these girls but then I realized I had a double sided griddle and Grill that don't use
Thanks for the review vid. Looks to be a really neat grill. For this week, Lodge is having a nice sale on this grill, so I jumped on youtube to check for reviews. Yours was top of the list. I love your diy Griswold spatula! So cool! Did you craft that yourself? 👍
Do your eyes really look like that?
I want one 😊
Do you have a link for that spatula?
I have the kickoff grill and I’m going to try it out for the first time tomorrow. I’ll let you know how I like it. I do like the fact that it’s only two pieces.
Everyone who put this grill together had the same problem with the leveling. They just backed one screw off a quarter turn in that solved the problem.
Dont like the base at all ! Try camping with uneven ground and the huge flat base wobbles all over . The hand grips are flimsy too. Good video though.
Question: is the product any cheaper, now that they have reduced the manufacturing process? I.e. Have they passed on any savings or is the profit greater?
Geez, actually learned a lot here and good review/comparison to the previous generation. Thanks dad!
