  1. Yeah, I learned that the hard way. Garlic will burn up quickly …. Good tip there 100%. The red wine is a nice touch. I use Balsamic Vinegar, but I'm gonna try the wine… So this takes me about an hour and a half with my old-school Presto stovetop pressure cooker. Thinking that the Insta-Pot could save me time…

  2. I tweaked this recipe. Added the whole can of crush peel tomatoes, used pork instead of beef because cubed pork was cheaper. I also added a packet that was about a tablespoon or more of siracha and then i added a can of corn with water drained.

  3. Thank you sooo much. It is the best beef stew I've ever made. I don't have teenage boys but I do have a picky 5 year old and she's eaten it 3 times within the same night! My new go to for sure.

  4. Thank you for another great IP recipe! I made this for my family for dinner tonight and it turned out great. My husband has a cold, so this made for an excellent comfort food dish. The horseradish really adds a nice flavor.
I will definitely make this one again ❤❤👍👍

  5. I just made this today and it was so delicious and convenient. I looked for other videos and recipes with instant pot. No other recipes were clear and skeptical. Your video seems so easy to follow and has clear instructions. Thank you sooo much! Hope I see more recipes that I can use on your channel

  6. I guess my appetite is vastly different from yours. If you only used one pound of stew meat I can understand why you didn't get any with teenage boys around. 🙂 I always use two to two-and-a-half pounds of stew meat and fill the instant pot with onions, potatoes and carrots with a couple of ribs of celery or a couple half-ears of corn on the cob for good measure. I always plan on leftovers for two reasons. I won't have to cook tomorrow and I think the flavors will become more intense overnight. I was raised on leftovers and don't understand why anyone would refuse to eat'em.

  7. I just used my Instant Pot for the first time and tried this recipe. I absolutely adored it. Unbelievable yummy, the meat was so tender and the flavor was delicate. Its going to be a staple!

  8. Excellent and informative video. I am with you on leaving out celery! …haha…yes it is really good for you that celery… Since this is Papa influenced I thought I'd ask you about this. Not broccoli florets, but broccoli stems, which many people just throw away. The great Jacques Pepin (who loves them mostly for the inner texture when cooked) cuts them from the florets and peels the stems like you would a carrot. I thought maybe cutting those peeled stems up and using them as a subsitute for the potatoes would add to the stew while cutting the starch calories. What do you think?!? BTW you are perfect on camera; watched once and could execute the whole recipe – delicious!

  9. I’ve been making this for me and my boyfriend a couple times a month now. I really really love it. It’s gotten to the point where whenever I get the bay leaf in my bowl I say to myself “I guess I’m the lucky winner.” 😂

  10. I never understand the bay leaf. I can't taste a flavor, so is it for something else? Oh, and a big thank you for the very soft background music. I frequently can not watch a whole video with blaring new generation crap music.
