  1. You did not do a natural pressure release. You did a quick release. There's a difference. Good video anyhow. Edit: when I saw you remove the lid, it was obvious that you don't have much experience using an electric pressure cooker. For your safety, and to set a good example, remove the lid with it facing away from you.

  2. I own both an Instant Pot and an air fryer. You’re correct that they both perform 2 different methods of cooking. My Instant Pot gets more use just because of its versatility. Tender juicy cuts of meat like ribs, pulled pork, chicken thighs cook up great in the Instant Pot then get crisped up in a cast iron pan or broiled in the oven after cooking. Thanks for posting.

  3. To brown meats for my Instant Pot and not have stand there and turn and sautee in batches, i salt and pepper, put all my protein on parchment or foil lined sheet pan and broil in oven 3-4 min, turn, broil again. Boom done. If its for a stew or something i lightly dust in flour to later help thinken sauce.

  4. People get confused when pressure cooking when you crisp the skin on meat first thinking it’s still going to be crisp skin after the final cooking.. nope.. you gotta do that at the last step in a broiler or air fryer if you want crispy skin..
