  1. I made your recipe last night and I must say these are definitely the perfect sausage rolls. Coming from South Africa I have been looking for a recipe that tastes like the ones we get over there since I live in the USA. I shared them with a Scottish friend and an English friend and they were over the moon. THANKS SO MUCH!!! 😀🎉🎉

  2. I’m only part Irish, but my husband is full, and he always misses these so much!
He went to school there when his dad was in the military.
His mum grew up there and was so talented in the kitchen, but we married late, and I never got to know her the way she was before advanced years.
I am so grateful for this recipe!
Guess who is getting them for a bit of snack while the turkey cooks today! Yum!
    Thank you Gemma!

  3. I’m making these this year for Christmas. I made the Irish shortbread biscuits that you, Mrs Gemma Stafford, made for St. Patrick’s day. Those biscuits were devoured by my family. They absolutely loved them. It’s my plan to make them for two holidays only: St. Patrick’s day and Christmas. Plus it’s just an added bonus I have Irish ancestors on my mom’s side.

  4. Breadcrumbs sound like a good idea to soak up the juices but…they aren't soaking anymore after they have been mixed. if they have been mixed into a meat filling well in advance can become saturated and lose their ability to absorb more moisture during baking. Wait to add them to the meat just before you fill your pastries.

  5. My god I've missed that accent,. I spent a few weeks in Limerick 40 yrs ago with a lovely Irish family and I really miss the people, everyone I met was so lovely. And the food was to die for. Gotta admit I gained a few kilos.
I didn't know your channel existed , I definitely will watch more,, thank you for this recipe.
