If you happen to be in Dublin, we definitely recommend a meal (or 5!) at Pinocchio in Ranelagh or Temple Bar. You can also sign up for one of many different themed Italian cooking classes with Giuseppe.
Giuseppe Crupi is the Director of Pinocchio Cookery School.
After a 5-year research period in Trinity College Dublin as an Engineer, he managed a language School and translation Company.
He loves cooking and languages and he speaks Italian, English, Spanish, but also some French, Portuguese, Irish and Greek.
Pinocchio Cookery School has been featured on the Irish and Italian press and on the most popular radio and TV shows.
Giuseppe is a regular guest on Ireland AM where he shows how to prepare traditional Italian dishes that are served during the cookery classes and in Pinocchio Restaurant.
Pinocchio Cookery School is the first Italian school of cooking in Dublin. It’s a brand of the Flavour of Italy Group and represents the only body in Ireland with a structure and a stuff specifically focused on teaching and spreading the Italian food and wine culture.
The Flavour of Italy Group includes one Cookery School, one Pinocchio restaurant in Ranelagh and one Pinocchio restaurant in Temple Bar.
The School provides technical and professional training for restaurant staff and catering to and it researches and selects Italian products of excellence to be used in the preparation of the dishes or to be included in the selection for sale.
Our aim is to promote the passion and knowledge of the traditions of the national and regional Italian cuisine through its courses and different initiatives.
“Here at the Italian School of Cooking we truly believe that cooking together is not just a way to provide food but a life-style based on sharing and enjoying the simple pleasures in life. People always have a great time cooking together”.

Loved this video
Oh BOY !…..I'm on my way to Italian Heavenoli !!!!! I was raising chickens & they were laying a bunch of fresh eggs…until the neighbor's dogs killed them….but I still have about 20 dozen eggs in the fridge to salvage….what better way then to make PASTA !!!!….Bonjourno
I'm Danish-Italian. When it comes to pasta and food in general, it's a spiritual experience for Italians; that's why they are so serious about it and have many rules. Braking the rules is like blasphemy.
Italians are like Germans seeking total bliss when perfection has been created. For Italians it is food, the Germans enjoy German Zen with a perfect done work.
wonderful teaching 🍝grazie
Is modern day Julia Child-makes pasta like my grandma
Lovely demonstration! mama mia❤!
I do everything as you say, the pasta comes out great. I’ve done every pasta that I can with it.
I have a problem though.
My favorite is spaghetti but my dough will not get caught by the spaghetti attachment. I try and try and can’t get it to cut into spaghetti. I tried wetting the tip of the dough, adding more flour to the tips, adding flour to the teeth of the attachment and nothing. I even tried making the dough thinner. The spaghetti attachment just won’t catch the dough.
This is fantastic.
I am so curious about the producer asking questions because you are so obviously South African. Who are you?
Making pasta alla gricia with my wife for new years and needed a fresh pasta recipe. Can’t wait to try it out! Love the video
Excellent video – Thank you!
0:45 it would be great to learn which sauce demands which type of pasta recipe (e.g., does shrimp scampi go with an egg pasta? If so, should it have semolina?)
Also, how many servings is this recipe? Trying to figure out how to scale it up/down.
Please a link to buy semolina and pure olive oil in US or 🇮🇹 Italy ?

This man is very captivating, his speech is not mundane or repetitive and it keeps your mind wanting more. I have to say, one of the easiest teachers I have had the privilege to watch and listen to!
You only mentioned "get a good one (pasta machine)"… Would you care to tell us which one/s you have?
Thank you, wish I was still living in Germany.. I would take a week and visit.
He reminds me of Freddy Mercury from The band "Queen" Italian version.
