Japanese Ground Beef Curry is the ultimate weeknight comfort food—rich, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes. Instead of the usual chunks of meat, this version uses ground beef for a quicker cook and a hearty texture that soaks up all the flavor. With just a Japanese curry cube, a splash of milk, and a few pantry staples, you’ll have a creamy, savory curry that’s both satisfying and unbelievably easy to make. Perfect over a hot bowl of rice, it’s the kind of cozy meal that makes a long day instantly better.

As a South African used to actually making the curry yourself with all the spices it feels like sacrilege to just use a "curry cube"…but that looks quick and easy..wonder if I could get those in SA.
This is rice-a-roni honestly. I expected better.
Definitely looks doable.
This is alot better when you use the Hayashi rice curry. The brown curry/gravy works alot better with the beef.

I wish I freaking had this recipe yesterday when I had ground beef and rice and didn’t know wtf to make 😂
Do NOT put your garlic in first!
Stop using curry cubes. You can find specific curry powders for specific meats/dishes. You can't just use the same blend of curry for everything ffs.
No vegetables?
Congratulations you're the first person to ever tell us what those flakes on top are called. I've been asking for years and nobody would answer
They don’t really use ground beef for curry in Japan
Whayt curry cubes do you use though? I used to love golden curry brand until they changed the recipe and started to make it sweeter.
I have to eat this besides rice!
Curry cubes are processed poison
