Is the potato a common one in a typical grocery store?
I love this recipe but my family loves the baked Japanese sweet potato with I can’t believe it’s not butter. It was also a pregnancy craving with my second child.

Filo here and i agree, we asian usually just eat boiled kamote or sweet potato as is. But we also fry it with caramelized sugar, u can buy it on streets, perfect meryenda.

I was surprised to fine Japanese sweet potatoes at my local supermarket! So much better than regular sweet potato.
It’s true. This was the first dish I tried and didn’t mess up in college. I love it so much I made it for my housemates in college with steak. Sometimes I make it in bunches and take it with me on the go for breakfast. It’s really good.
