  1. Whole cumin seeds bloomed in the fat in the pot before adding onions is a MUST for dishes like this. The onion/garlic should also be browned before adding the tomato. This recipe is definitely dulled down for the western palette

    And Why so much wasted Tari? The soupy water the chicken was cooked in has so much flavor. There was too much tari/water for this amount of spice and chicken
