One of my favorites episodes, lots of good tips! I made yummy salmon tacos yesterday and will def try out your recipe. I love how authentic you and your team are on your shows. Keep up the good work!
Tip for all. I prefer to buy spices in glass bottles so that I can reuse them for recipes like this. They are less porous than plastic so residual odors wash out. I like to combine a spice blend in them instead of a bowl to get an even more accurate sprinkle on all sides of whatever I’m seasoning, plus my hands stay clean. 👍🏻
I was getting motion sickness watching. Put your cameras on tripods or steady cam. Other that that, it all sounds yummy.
The insight on how you guys run taste tests was fantastic. Thank you!
Kinda cool to have them also mention/give a quick explanation of winning equipment and ingredients but it kinda makes the whole episode feel a little infomercial-ly. Prefer it when it’s separate segments
I love this healthy ATK video. I think that with the wonderful nutritious recipes , taking about what you are using with product reviews, and food tasting is awesome. I think you guys should do more Nutritious/ Healthy recipes videos . I also love watching Julia cook ! 🙂
I just love you your awesome thank you
Love how she’s having a caring attitude towards the camera men and making some for them, I couldn’t stop drooling even while having lunch 🐻
Fish tacos forever!! 😉😅
AFK?
Love those Salmon 🍣 Tacos 🌮
The slaw looks awesome, thanks for the inspiration 👍
That little “woo-hoo!” from the camera operator was hilarious. I love when we get little reminders of what’s going on behind the scenes.
I would never use farmed fish, ever. So bad for the environment. Otherwise, salmon tacos would be amazing!!
@1:55 you heated the pan to medium-high heat. Eeeks improper use of non-stick pan. OXO says the maximum temperature should not exceed 420 degrees F (source: OXO at https://www.oxo.com/non-stick-pro-12-inch-fry-pan-228.html). For gas stoves that is on the low side of medium. Turns out non-stick pans in general should never be used above medium heat on the stove top. Public service annoucement for viewers. A better alternative would be cast iron or stainless steel without the non-stick. Use a little oil and leave it in the pan rather than eating it.
Is anybody else’s OCD going insane watching the power cord under the foot of the blender make it unstable? I do enjoy watching Julia very much, but this is driving me nuts!
Hi Julia! Like many, I really love your shows. You look gorgeous! Love your hair styles and how you have your collar up. I'm your big Fan that always love your ways! Stay safe and keep on Cookin'…. good lookin'… 🤣❤
AFK = Away from kitchen
The smoothie was delicious. The salmon tacos were so simple and the flavors were Perfect together!!! I was skeptical but so happy I gave this recipe a try!!!!! Yum!!!!!!
Loved this format, and the insights to the testings. Keep it up 👍
Your link for the OXO frying pan shows a different skillet that has a silicone handle. Where is the one that you are using and recommend?? Melaney from SoCal
Super slaw …. how many carbs per serving? I am eating low carb these days. Sounds like a wonderful alternative slaw though!!
I would not eat those collard greens that is as wimpy and lifeless as those are, they look awful. Some things are not salvageable.
Nope. Not nonstick. Nor farmed fish, or veg oil. Bad toxins, poor nutrition.
Crema is a thing and it's not guacamole
The difference is farm salmon is highly inflammatory and wild caught salmon isn't because farmed salmon is high in omega-6s which totally negates the whole reason why people eat salmon. Wild caught salmon is high in omega-3s which are healthy for you and counteract omega-6 inflammation. Wild caught salmon eat wild diets and farmed salmon eat cow manure and GMO grains.
Love you, Julia Collins! Nothing flusters this woman.
What brand of knife are you using? Can tell it’s really sharp cuz the way you cut through that jicama
When peeling the eggs, It is on the large and first, It causes that bubble on the bottom of the egg to loosen the sides
Would love it if we could get a comment on times for cooking if you live at a higher altitude. Short and sweet and I and all others who live in higher places wouldn’t have to guess times.
camera guy was making me sick. great information though. thank you
I really like this format and appreciate that she is able to seamless prep, cook, and coach through the recipe. I also appreciate how she explains their testing methods. I've watched ATK for years and will be back for more of these videos!
