Kjaju Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
For Chicken Marination:
1. Chicken – 500g
2. Plain yogurt – ⅓cup / 4Tbsp
3. Black Pepper powder – ¼tsp
4. Green Chilli paste – 5no.
5. Ginger paste -½Tbsp
6. Garlic paste – 1tsp
7. Vegetable oil – 1 Tbsp
8. Salt to taste
For Preparing the Gravy:
1. Ghee – 2Tbsp
2. Cinnamon sticks -1
3. Cardamom – 3-4no.
4. Cloves – 3-4no.
5. Onion paste – 100g 1 large size onion)
6. Ginger paste -½Tbsp
7. Garlic paste – 1tsp
8. Bay leaves – 2no.
9. Cashew – 50g (Paste)
10. Sugar – 1tsp (According to your taste)
11, Raisins – 15g
12. Hot water – 1cup

Method:

First wash chicken properly

Than marinate then Chicken with salt,black pepper powder – 1//4tsp, ginger paste 1/2 tbsp ,garlic paste 1/2 tsp , green chilli (according to your taste) ,Yogurt 4 Tbsp,vegetable oil 1Tbsp
Marinate and leave for 30 minutes..

Take a pan and heat
Add Ghee 2Tbsp
Add bay leaves,cinnamon sticks 1 , cardamom 3-4 , cloves 3-4 , onion paste ( 100g) and saute for 3-4min on medium flame, add ginger paste 1/2 Tbsp , garlic paste 1Tsp , fry them and add marinated chicken,
Mix very well, than cover and cook for 20mins on low flame and stir occasionally,
After 20 minutes cook without lid for 4-5 minutes on low flame
After 5 minutes add cashews Paste 50g, sugar 1tsp( according to your taste) , Raisins-15g, mix very well and add hot water
Cook for 10-12mins on low medium flame
After 10-12mins Check salt sugar , turn off the flame
Delicious kaju chicken is ready to serve
