I have all of the ingredients in the fridge/pantry. I know what I'm having for dinner. Except I'm gonna use wild rice as it is what I prefer and always have on hand
Mmmm that looks so tasty x
Given all the times we're told "that tap doesn't work" I wonder about the times I've seen the guys wash their hands without leaving view of the camera…
One thing that I find hilarious is that Ben always says "paaahwk" instead of just 'pork'. My dad is English and I have never heard him enunciate 'pork' that way. Funny.
So is it tenderloin or loin? i thought medalloins are from tenderloin.
the whitest version of bibimbap I've ever seen lol
I thought that a little pink in the pork is alright now?
As an inspired geography teacher, Ben, you should check your geography knowledge. Japan, China, and Korea are East Asia. Southeast Asia is Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Phillipines, Indonesia, Timor-Leste. This looks good though. Will try it this midweek.
would love more recipes like this that can be scaled down for a single person, or up when you have people around. So many recipes have too many different elements/ingredients to bother with when you live alone!
Chief MATE!!!
So rewatching now, I can tell that sauce is probably amazing. Why? Because Ben balanced the seasoning triangle – Salt (soy), Sweet (honey), and Acid (vinegar, lemon)
yum rice with sesame oit; Gonna so do that.
I can see Jamie's face went "Oh GOD enough with the UMAMI, Ben."
I'm allergic to sesame, what could I use instead in the rice?
Jamie grunts as he beats his meat passionately, as Ben looks on
I've been Korean for 27years and I've never been cooking this way, but worth to try but seems really difficult as a Korean! It is a very simple process to make that bowl actually.
When Jamie eats delicious food his eyebrows look kind of like an 'Angry Bird's'… 7:10 hehehe
Made these for my packed lunches for the next few days and oh my goodness gracious is this pork good! Make sure you get proper gochujang. So tasty and because it's fermented it's good for your gut ecosystem too!
So excited to make this recipe! I think I'll add a dash of samjatang to the sauce since it compliments the other Korean flavors so well!
Darn you sue
I canβt help but feel itβs missing a fried egg or onsen egg in the middle of the rice bowl.
Liking the vid for Ben's wave.
I literally adore when Ben and Jamie do a video together. I love the rest of the boys but their chemistry is just so nice and refreshing.
don't know how authentic it'll be but i'd put some avocado in!
RIP Sid, whoever you are XDDDD
Do a real bulgogi?
At 6:25 in the video Ben looks like he is going to pull a Mortal Kombat finishing move on Jamie. Ebbers wins, Fatality!
The "Gochujjang" pronunciation is way off. κ³ μΆμ₯ is pronounced Go, as in "Go away", chu as in pikachu and Jang is just Jang, that was pronounced fine.
Hi! I'm vegeterian and I was wondering if I could substitute pork with tofu? Or maybe something else?
+gabiekook omg could you please help these guys… π
I don't find the water cloudy because of that bowl
This looks great. Will try it, just with tofu instead. Thanks!
very healthy~~..
FFS why are 80% of the comments on here whining about it not being authentic Korean food! Take a chill pill you moaning douche's! It looks great and no doubt tastes amazing!! Keep up the good work lads!
Just realized the twist they were making on was bibimbap
is that…. supposed to be… bibimbap.??.?. because.. bibimbap is not a street food really.. and it's not really made like that but.. to each their own I guess
Just had this deliciousness for lunch! That sauce is amazing! πwe paired it with Carrot red onion and garlic straight out of the wok
Thanks guys π
Are you guys planning on bringing the SORTEDfood app onto the play store for android devices?
Yay for jumping on the korean train!! If you have the chance, you should collab with Maangchi, she's my favourite inspiration all Korean food related!
Please make baked cheese tarts
Missing. Fried. Egg. (just on the top bits and makes you orgasm in the mouth … mmm)
You should have your own cooking show on YouTube red
Yum !My fav rice bowl has to be chicken manchurian ! An Indo-Pak Chinese dish which has NIL Chinese roots π It's ketchupy, tangy, sweet chicken. Delish !
Okay but look at Bens downright gorgeous smile at 7:58. You cutie.
Is bibimpab really street food? I mean still delicious but not sure if it's street food… also vinegar? ksjsj what
I heard Ben saying put the rice into the sauce-spoon??? around 0.55 to 0.58
Korean Cold Noodles!
cool. this isn't really korean or street food though. bibimbap is more a restaurant food as vegetables don't hold well on the streets.
i think calling it an Asia inspired bowl is more appropriate, but buzzwords. good stuff.
Also using a fork.. I mean I understand if using chopsticks are difficult, but.. using a spoon would be easier to eat with.
