Lemon Pesto? Our New Favorite Pasta Recipe Comes from Amalfi | Milk Street At Home
In Amalfi, Italy, huge lemons, “sfusato amalfitano,” are made into a Limoncello but, better yet, the peels are ground along with almonds, Parmesan, and oil to make pesto in minutes. Pesto Genovese (basil) is nice but Pesto di Limone is better! Get the recipe:

Did it. Loved it.
I love different kinds of pestos and to create my own. ❤
I usually use sunflower seeds.
Lovely video and recipe! (I love pasta, and I love lemons, so I am making this soon!)
I want the salt container with the pop down lid!!! Can't find it!
I did get fresh pine nuts because there's nothing more savory than fresh sweet basil and pine nuts give a mild nutty taste to your pesto sauce. No sugar was added but a tablespoon of fresh Sicilian Lemon juice.
1 table spoon Pink Hemmilayan sea salt.
I boiled the pasta in peeled lemon rinse
Then took it out before adding the pasta.
I shared this link with my husband yesterday and he made it for dinner. Absolutely delicious!! He said he guessed on the amount of almonds as the video did not say. He guessed right, great meal!!
Holy batdizzy. Completely nauseated even though I finished it with my eye mostly closed once I started feeling off. Please do more camera anchoring.
Did I miss the amount of nuts ? Can we print it somewhere?
Made this for dinner tonight. So good! Definitely a keeper recipe for my family.
Great recipe! Tried it at home and came out better than I expected. Will definitely make again.
Be advised, you must use locally grown lemons because non local lemons are sprayed with a harmful petroleum product to aid in the preservation and survivability during transport.
This looks delicious… will definitely be making this! just got the newest Milk Street cookbook “Vegetables” and it looks amazing!
I am missing your Bow Tie , i didnt recognize you at first …
looks awesome!
I like how absolutely normal his house looks.
I will definitely be trying this!
Worst video production ever, truly shameful under the Milk name.
I love your “cooking at home”. I’m going to try to replicate this dish. Thanks.
Why you left America test kitchen
The recipe is awesome, the camera shake is very dizzying on a large monitor. Use multiple GoPros or move one GoPro on a tripod and cut out the transitions, nothing wrong with cuts 🙂
Christopher i love Watching You at milk Street And considering your professionalism this video is really terrible watching , made me dizzy though the recipe is a good one please consider that next time too much Walking and your techniques were too poor this time
Nice pasta, but why don’t you reverse the door swing on your refrigerator? Just awkward!
The recipe looks incredible, but this style of filming made me nauseated. Definitely gonna try the pasta, though
