Lol we have the same recipe In Czech Republic and it's called "řízek"
In Hungary it's RÁNTOTTHÚS
in Poland we call it schabowy, and eat this with potatoes and Some greek salad from cucumbers, its like National dish here we eat it, on sundays with family:)
I have eaten a lot of tonkatsu, both chicken and pork, and I can confidently say that is one of the best crusts I have seen on a katsu
