Oatmeal creme pies make fabulous ice cream sandwiches
I honestly don’t understand. Does ANYONE pay for ATK? Why? Did they not literally just GIVE us the recipe? And because they gave it to us, why should we have to pay to bookmark it? No. I’ll save the recipe another way thank you very much.

I would make this except this contains raisins. My dog gets a cookie tax and raisins would never do…
I never liked oats with that sweet filling . It was not a good mix nor taste to me …I would always go for those Swiss rolls lol

I have actually made this recipe, and it is FANTASTIC. Not too sweet, huge depth of flavor thanks to the dark brown sugar and molasses, and they're nice and big and satfisfying. Highly recommend them.

I've been waiting for this day. I can now recreate my all-time favorite discontinued snack: the Little Debbie Peanut Butter and Jelly Oatmeal Pies
Need some more frosting, but looks spectacular.

3 c old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 c raisins
Blitz
1 c flour
1 tsp table salt
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c dark brown sugar
2 tsp molasses
1/2 c vegetable oil
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Whisk
1 large egg
1 large yolk
1 tap vanilla extract
1 1/4 c marshmallow cream (fluff)
3/4 c powdered sugar
6 Tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp table salt
Since this recipe calls for molasses separately and brown sugar is just white sugar + molasses, can't the recipe be simplified by just using all white sugar, eliminating the brown sugar, and bumping up the molasses? Or is there more to brown sugar?

My favorite Little Debbie snack. I have tried making them so many times but couldn't get the texture just right. I will definitely try these.
Go to Black Creek Nursery in East Earl PA. It’s an Amish green house. They sell some magical whoopie pies, one of which is the best oatmeal cream pie.

Can we get a recipe for the fluff? I never understood these half-assed "homemade" recipes. If I wanted pre-made anything, I'd just get the Little Debbie's.
