I ate mostly a whole food, vegetarian diet for a couple of decades. Unfortunately, I was unaware that all those vegetables were high in oxalates, and I got a kidney stone and oxalates throughout my body, which made me quite ill.
I educated myself and found out that pre-humans and humans eat almost exclusively meat for about 1 million years. So I’m all in with the animal-based diet now.
