As a Marylander, I prefer steamed (have had them boiled several times). You just couldn’t taste as much of the sweet, blue crab flavor…you mostly taste the seasoning, which overpowers the crab’s natural flavor. I’ve also noticed that Gulf Crabs aren’t as flavorful as Chesapeake Crabs, so maybe y’all GOTTA boil ‘em. That being said…$hit looked GOOD!!!
