My first experience with Louisiana petrol station food was out of this world. There was a bit of a language barrier, but it didn't matter bc that's still some of the best fried chicken and biscuits I've ever had!
This looks really delicious ๐๐คค I'm going to give you a thumbs up on your YOUTUBE VIDEO ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ keep sending your YOUTUBE VIDEO'S coming ๐ฏ Coming from Indiana. I'm going to have to try to do this.
I remember my 1st time ever going to Louisiana. I tried 1 on day 1 and then I ate about 10 of them within 3 days. And I even bought about 6 of them for the road trip back to Florida. ๐๐
Kinda looks like a pasty but deep fried, next time you make this try using shortcrust or puff pastry, egg-wash it then bake it. Buttery flaky pastry with a delicious filling, same filling taste, different texture!
Im from Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish. I miss my Louisiana meat pies, Boudin/ Boudin balls, fresh Cracklins and Zapp's Voodoo Chips. All at almost any convenient store on whatever block. I unfortunately now live in Flint, MI. There's nothing close to that here. Hell i think they never discovered flavor here ๐ข. Like it should all come from a sauce and they use rice with absolutely nothing! ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
I want my Rabideauxs Sausage back, i want my Tony Chachere's… My Mamas cookin…. Flavor! Dammit I miss Louisiana!!!
