Do y'all make my cobbler with fresh, frozen, or canned peaches?

I could do you one better. Just do the cuppa cuppa cuppa from steel magnolias. But instead of fruit cocktail use canned peaches if you want some thing a little more fresh same recipe just use frozen peaches. Let them thaw first and then add a cup with all the liquid only catch is you’ll have to let it cook a little longer to compensate for the texture. And you may need to add some milk to get the right consistency. I did it with berries came out nice.

my grandmother's recipe was very similar – she mixed 1 cup milk, sugar, S/R flour, and 1 stick melted butter but poured it OVER the peaches. I've tried both ways and like it poured over peaches best.

I take mines and put in the oven let the crust get brown and then I'll go back and I put my peach cobbler juice on top of it and it is so good

My mom has made this recipe for years. We use canned peaches (for consistency) and add a tsp on vanilla. Such a great and easy recipe.
