Supermarket and homemade soup-mix dips have relegated the crudités platter to a bad memory. But the proper base and a few bold ingredients can bring it back.

Is @AmericasTestKitchen now just Julia's kitchen? What is going on? Really sad to see ATK rejecting diversity and featuring a white woman almost exclusively.
IT WAS REALLY SHADY OF YOU NOT INCLUDING CHRIS-NOT EVEN A MENTION OR A PICTURE-IN YOUR 25th Anniversary episode!!!
For a more healthful Caesar dressing mix 1.5 T fresh lemon juice; 1 T Ume Plum vinegar; 1-2 minced garlic cloves, 1 t. Dijon mustard with 1/2 to one whole ripe Hass avocado mashed. You won't miss the dairy, eggs or anchovies..
Those "squeezable" condiments are such a waste, but then you work for ATK with deep pockets so waste doesn't matter..
Great recipe Julia. But no double dipping please. 😮
Julia this seems to be very tasty! Well at least to you. I’m going to make this Super easy directions also. Thank you.
Love Julia at Home!
That's a great recipe I'm gonna serve that with triple cooked chips and chicken wings, not gonna bugger around chopping cucumbers and romaine lettuce
I use a little pitzman’s mustard.
Beautiful recipe…..my friend good job ❤❤🎉🎉 I will love to try it 😂
When you keep carrots so long…..then they have to get their own dip or DOUBLE DIP?
For those who don't like, can't eat or can't find anchovies – a bit of dijon mustard and worcestershire sauce is a good substitute.
Yum, wine and veggies with dip 😉
Caesar Dip – Julia At Home (S5 E3)
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1 TBSP parsley, minced
2 anchovy filets rinsed, minced
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 TBSP lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 – Mix and let chill about an hour.
2 – Garnish with parsley or green onion when serving.
3 – Serve with vegetables, romaine lettuce, whole carrots, sliced cucumbers, radishes, halved.
I liked it, but I added a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to actually mimic the flavor of the Cesar's dressing. Thank you for sharing, I love your content.
NEW YEARS'S EVE PARTIES coming up👍👍👍
Oo! Fabulous, Julia! Keeping this idea for later!
I could eat dips as a meal…sadly. This one sounds great, hmm
love yoiu all. And the recipes are great
Whip up this Caesar Dip for your next party it’s super easy to make and will definitely impress your friends! Trust me, once they try it, they won't stop coming back for more. Perfect for dipping and munching!
I used to make something similiar to this, but also added Beau Monde Seasoning.
No dill?
I would still side eye my brother if he double dips, just because we're related does not mean I want his cold
I'm so glad you said “We are all family “
Remember when the written recipes weren’t behind a subscription paywall? Pepperidge farms remembers
No Dijon?
I'd eat every bite of this myself! But I prefer my condiments in jars. Lots of waste in squeezables and a lot of effort to try to open them to get what's left.
Hang the convenience. I'd rather save money.
Yum! I love veggies and dip for lunch, for snacks, anytime really! And I love the fact that you aren’t using packet ingredients to make it. I am American but now live in Scotland and all those packets of soup mixes, dressing mixes, etc that I grew up using to make dips are not available in Scotland. So this is just fantastic to me and I would be thrilled if you do more of these. I am fortunate to get home to the US once or twice a year and do bring back some things I just cannot do without, like Vermont Maple Syrup (my family sends me back with a gallon or two), bells poultry seasoning, old bay, Vermont cheddar cheese, veggie seeds such as crookneck summer squash, yellow cherry tomatoes atoes and whatnot. But the seasonings for dip never seem to make it over. I miss the dips and even worked out how to make my own bacon and horseradish dip which as my favourite.
We recently bought our dream home in the middle of nowhere. The nearest proper grocery store is a 2 hr drive away, one way. So anything I can make from scratch from basic ingredients or that I can make and can are the ideal and saves room in the big sho for other things. 😆 So I am LOVING your channel. Thank you so much!! 💖🙏🏴

Looks delicious, Julia. How much Parmesan?
