I love butter chicken, but just moved to a very small town that has no restaurants besides an italian and a chinese (And I don't own a car), so I've kinda really needed this to see that, yeah, I could actually make it at home by myself.
Not adding the time it takes to wash off everything you used to prepare this is just cheating.
I'd need those 20 minutes just to get to the nearest store, and then I still wouldn't have anything in my shopping cart, plus I wouldn't even know a place inside half an hour of driving that even has ghee.

Let's also not forget that with the amount of dishes you use, there's like a 45 minute cleanup, even if we ignore the need to go shopping.

Just made this yesterday and it was DELICIOUS, however, much spicier than I anticipated. Great for me, but my poor wife couldn't take the spice level. Next time I make it, I'm cutting the Kashmiri Chili Powder amount in half.
I've seen people saying it wasn't spicy at all and I wonder if it's just a difference in the brand of spices we are using, because I followed the recipe and it was definitely gum tingling, nose running spicy. Very good though. Absolute recommend.
