Meat Church BBQ Seasonings explained – Part 2

Meat Church BBQ seasonings are created in small batch right here in Texas. They are made with the best ingredients and are the freshest on the market. When you order from MeatChurch.com, or when a dealer places an order, they have been in a bottle for days and not weeks or months like many producers. Be sure to check out Part 1 as well:

  1. Love your channel and your willingness to share your knowledge. I stay in South Africa and one of my friends is visiting the USA soon. He can only bring me one shaker/packet of your spice back to SA. What would you suggest? I mostly do pork, chicken and some beef on the Weber. Please let me know what you'd suggest. Thanks!

  2. I just looked up the dealer locations…..But, I am pretty confident that I purchase one of your seasonings at a big box store…. Can't remember if it was the orange one, or the blue.
Regardless, what is the best way to store these once we open them??

  3. Got my first Blanco 2 days ago. I put it onto a smoked chicken. Fantastic. Then tonight I dusted it on a marinated tri tip before it went on the grill. Amazing. And then I used it to season my asparagus. And my wife put it on her eggs this morning.

So it’s official. Blanco is 😙👌

  4. Hey Matt!
I finally recieved my "5-pack" spices. I know you cant do anything about the USPS but man they are slow.
Ive used the Holy Cow for 2 years–simply amazing, but I just used the Blanco on a few items incluidng wood roasted Calzones..All I can say is Thanks! That spice is awsome Matt! Take care.

  5. New to smoking meat and picked up honey hog and holy gospel a month or so ago after doing home rubs a few times. Awesome mixes! The family loves the finished product every time. Almost out of the honey hog. Just picked up the ocho set on the website. Really looking forward to comparing the hot honey and Texas Sugar with ribs and testing everything on vegetables😋

  6. Hi, Matt! Thanks for these explanation videos! Love your flavors… use them all the time, and they are my wife's fave is well. I have one issue, though, in that when I buy them, they tend to clump, and stick together, making it more difficult to shake out evenly over meat. I can break them up in the bottle, but once I start shaking over the meat, it starts to clog. This seems to be the case with about 5 different MC products I have purchased, even when I have just removed the seal. I havnt seen anyone else complain about this, so I wonder if it's my retailer? I wont mentioned the name of the store , but they are the place with the helpful hardware folks. 🙂 Either way, it can get frustrating. Think it's the retailer? Or if this is common, will there be anti-binders added, or perhaps a desiccant added to each bottle to help prevent this? Oh, I should mention my climate control system is set to 45% humidity in the house.

  7. You mentioned that your son liked Honey Hog on popcorn. Well, I accidentally bought a jar of UNSALTED peanuts the other day and they were blander than bland. So I thought, how about adding some honey hog to the jar and see if that helps? Well, I'll tell you, that and a little extra kosher salt did the trick. These peanuts are now my new favorite afternoon snack!

  8. I think I’ve ordered all of your seasonings and love them all, but Holy Voodoo is still my fav and go to! Probably use that 4-1 of all of them. Have to say thank you too, Matt, for highlighting other craft sauces and marinades. I’ve recently purchased Bachan, “W” Sauce (both hot & regular) and Meat Mitch BBQ Sauce. Love all of them. I do the grilling and smoking at my house so thank you for all the great videos and tips! You’ve really helped me up my game!!
