  1. Instead of cooking my rice for 15 minutes, I used four cups of broth and simmered for 30-40 minutes (it just wasn't done). And instead of mozzarella, I used chihuahua cheese, and doubled the cayenne. This tastes so good with Fritos Scoops!

  2. I always..and I do mean ALWAYS follow the directions to the most minute detail the first time I make something. Then, depending on who's eating with me, I listen to what they say or comment on. I will make adjustments as I want to. I also look at how much is left over. If nothing is left over, it's fine as it stands.

  3. I tasted the dough mix and knew this was another masterpiece 👌 but I changed something…. I made the frosting also banana 🍌 flavored and can't wait til it's done to see what my family thinks. Thanks for sharing.

I made this and the following is the quantities that I used in case this is useful to anyone else 🙂 : 1 red onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 red pepper, 2 spring onions, 1 tin each of corn and beans, 150g of mild cheddar cheese (didn't have mozzarella), a squirt of tomato paste, 150g basmati rice, 250g mince, 1 TSP of all the herbs except cayenne pepper where I used 1/2 TSP & finally 750ml chicken stock. This made enough for around 5 people! First attempt though and was delicious 😊
