I'm 70 and lived in MI my whole life and never heard of it.
Never heard of this either. But not from Michigan.
I wonder if I could use fresh blackberries since that's what I have in the freezer. 🤔
Oh my gosh this would be AMAZING using strawberries too. Im definitely going to try it with strawberries as im not such a huge blueberry fan.
Looks so good. I love blueberries and I love bread pudding ❤
Michigander here. Have eaten lots of blueberry pie, cobbler and betty, but never pudding. I don’t think I could have waited for it to cool… eat while still warm with homemade whipped cream or homemade ice cream
I'm from Michigan Tammy! Js n this looks delightful! ❤
I have lived in michigan my whole life and have never had this. Looks good.
Love Blueberries, this looks tasty
Lemon juice usually brings out the flavor in blueberry. I’m surprised it didn’t have any in the recipe.
My family would refer to it as a blueberry dumpling. Looks delicious.
Your hair looks great. Thank you for teaching us. Your channel is so uplifting. Thank you❤❤❤
Lived in Michigan 20 years and never heard of it. ❤ I think I remember this in Georgia with blackberries. We had lots of Blackberries in Drenthe and blueberries in Holland but this is a new one. Will try it.

This looks like a wonderful Easter dessert. 😋.
This would be good with some lemon curd
My guess is that it’s not an actual “Michigan” recipe but a recipe from elsewhere using “Michigan blueberries” – hence the name.
I'm curious, but I think I will stick to my blackberry dumplings 😅❤
