Milk Gaja Recipe | Crispy & Juicy Traditional Sweet #shorts



Try this easy and delicious Milk Khaja recipe, a crispy and juicy sweet perfect for any festive occasion.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup maida (all-purpose flour)
• 2 tbsp ghee
• A pinch of salt
• ½ tsp saunf (fennel seeds)
• Milk as needed (to knead the dough)
• Oil or ghee for frying
• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup water

Steps:
1. In a bowl, mix maida, ghee, salt, and saunf.
2. Add milk gradually and knead a smooth dough.
3. Roll the dough and cut into square pieces.
4. Fry on low flame till they turn golden brown and crisp.
5. In another pan, prepare sugar syrup (chasni) by boiling sugar and water till slightly sticky.
6. Dip the fried pieces in warm syrup and let them soak for 2 hours.
7. Serve once the khaja absorbs the syrup and turns soft inside but crispy outside.
