Welcome to Cooking with the Ley Sisters. In today’s video, we will be showing you how to make a simple recipe using a very common ingredient: Ground Beef. We will be making minced beef and three different meals you can make to enjoy during the week (including a low-carb option). This is the perfect recipe you can make for meal prep on Sunday.
Ingredients you will need for the minced beef:
-1 lb of ground beef (I’m using 85/15)
-1 medium sliced onion
-1 jalapeno (you may remove the ribs/seeds if you don’t like spicy food)
-2 tsp minced garlic
-2 tsp ginger
-3tsp soy sauce
-2tsp oyster sauce
-Salt and Black Pepper to taste (I’m using 1/2 tsp of each in this recipe)
Meal #1: Minced Beef with Steamed Rice
Meal #2: Minced Beef Lettuce Wraps (Low Carb Option)
Meal #3: Stir Fry
For the Stir fry, you may use any veggies you want, but I am using cauliflower, celery and carrots since that’s what I had at home.
Stir Fry Ingredients:
-1 Cauliflower
-3 Carrots
-2 Celery Sticks (ribs)
-1 tsp of cayenne pepper, curry powder and black pepper (reduce if you don’t like spicy)
-1 tsp of soy sauce and oyster sauce
