  1. I absolutely loved this recipe, was a little skeptical about using the peppers, but thoroughly enjoyed eating them . The gravy was amazing, served over rice. This is the only way I will make a pork butt! I’m making this for my favorite deacon and his family this weekend. Going to send it to them pot and all!

  2. Tammy, this looks scrumptious!
I haven't made a "pork pot roast" since 2011-12, can't remember; however, I do remember it being delicious & folks being surprised that I (a northerner) prepared it–used Chinese herbs & spices.
My Dutch Oven did its job for that potluck affair.

  3. I have a similar recipe that I use for chuck roasts. I use ranch packets, brown gravy, Italian seasoning, chicken bone broth, minced garlic, a little salt, black pepper, etc.
I have wanted to find a similar way for a pork roast and this looks amazing. I've seen people use apple cider vinegar before, tried it, not a fan.
What flavor does the peproncini juice add?

  4. I am coming to the party late! My husband bought a pork roast by mistake… I know don’t ask…🙄. Anyway, I tried this recipe tonight and it was fabulous! 😋Omg! I mean wow! I will definitely be trying this again, since my hubby bought two.

  5. That pot roast would be very good on a hot sub sandwhich, Yum, Yum, Yummie, lol and use the brother from the roast as a dipping sauce served on the side to dip your sub sandwhich in. You can serve a side potatoes or Macaroni salad on the or with some bbq potatoe chips
