A simple, low budget and easy to cook recipe to satisfy your seafood cravings. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/2 kg. mussels
1/2 kg. squid (chopped in ring shape)
1/2 kg. shrimp
2 pcs. sweet corn (cut into halves)
1 Tbsp cooking oil
2 gloves of garlic (minced)
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
2 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
1 Tbsp. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp soy sauce
250g salted butter
(You can add other seasoning like Thyme or Cajun powder and season according to taste)
Directions:
– Boil the mussels and sweet corn for 10 minutes (set aside).
– Saute garlic in oil, and add the butter after 3 minutes mix well until the butter is dissolved
– Add the spices and seasoning (cayenne, paprika, black pepper, tomato paste, salt, white sugar and soy sauce) mix well in low heat.
– Add the squid and shrimp. Take into simmer for 5-10 minutes.
– Finally, add the boiled mussels and corn.
– Mix the spices with the seafood and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
This recipe serves 3-4 persons.
