Here is the detailed recipe of moong dal halwa

Moong dal halwa
1. Soaked one bowl of moong dal for 5-6 hours.
2. Dry roast the dal well.
3. Grind it and make a fine powder .
4. For sugar syrup, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp cardamom powder and optionally you can add food color.
5. Cook for 5 minutes.
6. In a pan add 2 tbsp ghee and 1 tbsp besan.
7. Roast for 2 minutes.
8. Add the moong dal powder and cook for 10 minutes.
9. Add sugar syrup and continuously stir until it becomes lump free.
10. Add one cup of milk and cook for 2 minutes.
11. Garnish it with dry fruits and 1 tbsp ghee.
12. Your delicious moong dal halwa is ready. Enjoy
