My dad used to take me camping and we would find a branch with roughly the thickness of a frikandel and cut the bark off. then we made bread dough or used store bought puff pastrie and put it around the stick where we cut off the bark and cooked it over a campfire. then he cooked the frikandellen and when the bread was ready we added saus in the hole of the bread and he added a frikandel into the hole. If that is not "Its oke to play with youre frikandel" then I dont know what is. I will bet you a frikandel broodje from BP or AH that those originated from cooking frikandel and bread like this.

Try this with frikandellen van Van Reusel (Best Bite) Roel. Al jaren de prijswinnende frikandel van Nederland en zoveel lekkerder dan Mora. Trouwens geserveerd in het overgrote deel van de snackbars.

I used to travel through Holland every week from the UK to Germany, I couldn't help myself I had to stop at the Shell service station at Venlo for the Frikandel and the meatballs, I think its the law to do so 😅
Was lekker. Klinkt wel leuk in het Engels, die "Frikandellen". Zal sowieso ook in het Frans op de verpakking staan omdat België nu eenmaal ook Franstalig is.
