Chocolate ❤️ Rub:
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Mix together and coat steaks, let sit for 20 minutes or longer.
Chocolate ❤️ Sauce:
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup beef broth
2 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 oz. dark chocolate chopped
1/2 Tbsp. maple syrup (if using dark chocolate)
Cook oil and garlic until garlic is a little brown
Add in Worcestershire, salt and broth
Whisk water and cornstarch together, then add to sauce, whisking vigorously
Remove from heat, add chocolate and maple syrup, if using
If too thick, add a little water to thin
NOTE: I broiled my steaks, but you can cook them however you’d like 🤗
