Ingredients for Oven-Baked Honey Glazed Pork Ribs
For the Pork Ribs Marinade:
1 kg pork ribs
Salt (to taste)
White pepper (to taste)
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
3 teaspoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine
1 tablespoon fermented red bean curd sauce (from the jar)
1 teaspoon peanut butter
For the Baking Tray (Base for Ribs):
1 onion (sliced)
1 bell pepper (optional, sliced)
For the Side Dishes (Potatoes and Tomatoes):
2–3 potatoes (cut into chunks)
2–3 tomatoes (cut into chunks)
Salt (to taste)
White pepper (to taste)
Dried rosemary (to taste)
Olive oil (for boiling and seasoning)
For Basting and Glazing:
Spare rib sauce or Char Siu sauce
Honey (for final glaze)
