My first smoker 20 some years ago was an electric smoker. I made some hot garbage in that thing but it the failures taught me to think about the process as a whole. Many smokers and years later and my kids always comes back when the smoker is running. Thanks for sharing!
I have that same smoker that I bought a couple of years ago from Amazon. I don't use the smoke tube that came with it, I use an electric cold smoke generator from lowes that I connected using i think 2 3" HVAC elbows to connect them together. It allows me to to get a little better smoke and also be able to cold smoke in it as well. I did it that way because I couldn't get it to smoke very well unless at the full 275 degrees and I usually like to start smoking at 225 or 250.
