The New Traeger Woodridge series has 3 different models to choose from! This is giving Traeger more of a selection of the new body style for everyone’s budget!
The new Woodridge is by far the quietest pellet grill I have ever ran and the base model does a good job smoking BBQ. The Woodridge Pro and The Elite have more features, plus they are a tad bigger.
I think the Traeger Woodridge base model is perfect for someone that is just getting into smoking BBQ and wants to have a few of the newer creature comforts on their first pellet grill!

Great video as always.I am trying to decide between the Ironwood 885 and the Woodridge Elite. I know that the Elite hasn't shown up yet. What would you recommend?
How much are they paying you for the plug ?
Love your videos, no nonsense and very clear. Thanks!
I’m sorry but these big box smokers look like toys next to Lone Star Grills or Yoder. IMHO
lol. This old man is sitting here with his FM radio listening to Iowa State basketball and this pops into my Xbox YouTube feed. Instant sub
Good Morning Ricer. I guess Weber also brought out a new pellet grill – The Weber Smoque. Will you get one and let us know if the new “smoke circulation” system is better than the Searwood? Looks just like a Searwood, but the internals are a little different. Let us know. PS – great review on the Traeger, thanks!
Sounds like every Traeger, not enough smoke…..stupid pellet grills
Ricer, that sounded to me like you didn’t like it at all….you were trying to be nice to keep getting shipped the freebies. I ditched Traeger years ago. Quality lacking and pricing got nuts. Traeger gotta get in the boardroom and figure some things out. Too bad. I now have a Pitboss Pro Series 1600 V3 for half the price of a new much smaller Ironwood. Larger hopper, double wall steel insulated with oven seal, side shelf, front shelf, bottom shelf, cover, pull out racks, quick igniter, easy ash dump, and just overall way heavier (thing is a beast). Also, came with a super heavy griddle insert. I did spend a few more bucks and got a flame tamer and gap deflector from Smokes Like A Boss. Makes the Pitboss damn near perfect. Pitboss seems to be way bigger bang for my hard earned buck. I am in Canada so things are a little more up here, but my Pitboss was $1700 and I got on sale for $1500. Traeger Ironwood is around $3000. No thanks.
so many choices to make i want a pellet grill this year but what kind? TRAEGER,PIT BOSS,CAMP CHEF . ETC. what size. i got my 36" blackstone but that will not smoke ribs.
Super excited to see these. Thinking of getting the pro. Upgrading from a pro 22
I’m confused you said the elite would come out late March but it already has 50 reviews. How can a grill have 5 star reviews that isn’t out?
Thanks for the review. I always wanted a Traeger grill, but I'm happy with my PitBoss for now.
Did you tie your prime rib? I bought string thinking i needed to tie ..
Great video Ricer
Thanks for your honest review. Seems like it’s a new cool gimmick with all the technology, but sub-par for what it’s actually built for.
Ask one question
Where is it made?
Answer = China
Do you have a good celery recipe?
As much as I love my traeger. The kamado is my go-to. Smoke flavor and getting close to the set & forget perk. The price is good, but the for the sake of staying on pellet grills, I'd go for the Woodwind smokers.
Delicious as always!
Still no access to flame sear.. Pass
Traeger is pretty garbage these days. Its down there NexGrillz, Pit Boss, etc. Id definitely buy a RecTeq before a Traeger or a Lone Star Grillz or another US madr pellet grill.
I notice the 885XL creates more smoke than the 885. I have heard it is because of the new fire pot in the XL. Is the fire pot in the Woodrige the same as the firepot in the XL?
For the extra $200, the larger cooking area, caster wheels, and Super Smoke features sound like pretty solid upgrades👍😊
☄️😱🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great video Ricer! It’s funny, we made many of the same comments 😂
Dead broke bbq but $3k grill 🤣
Nice review Jeff and the food looks awesome 😎🔥🔥🔥, definitely agree with you go for the pit that gives you more smoke! Awesome video sir! Cheers 🍻
Traeger Fkd up with this suppose to be smoker/grill. Lone Star Grills for the win.
No pellet grill on the market beats the LSG pellet grill.
Great review Jeff! All that great looking food made me hungry, but all your videos do that to me…Great Job!
Another excellent review, Ricer! I'm thinking all those cooks probably cost as much as that grill🤔😂👍
