  1. This recipe is GOLD!
    I didn't have beef broth, so I added extra seasoning/spices (Maggi cubes, curry, thyme, etc., what I usually use in boiling meat) to the filling for extra flavour and it turned out so well.
    I also added the carrots after the potatoes cos I didn't want it to cook for long.
    When I treated the filling, I knew I was on the path to greatness 😂 it was so delicious!

    The dough was simple to make as well. I made a mistake while making the dough (I forgot to add water to the eggs), so I couldn't form it for a while, but I added a bit of water and flour and just kept kneading it hoping for the best. Thankfully it formed nicely and didn't affect the pie at all.
    I've been avoiding trying out meat pie on my own cos I didn't want to work with dough, but I didn't find it hard at all. I felt so proud. Thank you!

    I'm Nigerian myself living abroad where it's hard to find people who make real meat pie, not the sugary fakes I find everywhere 😂
    I'm so glad to find a recipe I can follow easily. It hardly leaves an aftertaste too!

  2. I love this video, I plan to try this soon. But I have a question about measurement. How much is one potato and how much is one carrot? There is a huge variation in size, so these are not very meaningful measurements. I want to get it right. Can you give me guidance?
