Nimbu-Mirchi-Murgi🍗: Ingredients & Recipe Below:-
– Marinate 1 kg chicken with 2 tbsp green chilli paste, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp lemon zest, 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 2.5 tbsp curd and 1 lemon juice. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
– Heat 4 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp butter in a pan. Add in 2 strings of curry leaves, 1 inch cinnamon stick, 3 cloves and 3 green cardamom. Let them pop for 20 seconds then add in the marinated chicken pieces.
– Fry the chicken pieces on high for 8 minutes turning sides. Now turn flame to low and add in 250 grams whisked curd, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, 4 green chillies, half tsp turmeric and 1 tsp garam masala powder. Mix and cook on low for 5 minutes.
– Now add in a cup of water giving it a good mix and close the lid turning flame to low for 12-15 minutes (depending on the size of your pieces). Now add in 5 tbsp corn slurry mixing gently for a minute. Lastly add in 1 lemon juice garnishing with chopped coriander leaves. Turn off the flame and put the lid on for 5 minutes before serving.
