Here is my full review of the Ninja Foodi Grill. I later learned that there IS a dehydrating basket *sold separately* that I have not tested yet. Maybe for Part 2!

Thank you for this review. 1. Does the unit get hot on the outside? 2. Do you still own the unit, and how has it held up?
I just got one of these given to me second hand and don't even have a grill chart or any info on it so thank you for this video and also I guess I'm not missing much without the chart if it's not super accurate lol
Do you still use it?
A video idea if you are still using it, do a 4 year review. What you have learned and tips and tricks.
The trick is to airfry meat from frozen. That way it doesn't get dried out, yet crispy on the outside. I started doing it years ago because I wanted them to stay frozen to not get increased histamine load, and found out they just turned out way better. I usually cook it at 180c for 15 minutes. Then crank the last 5 to 200c. That way it doesn't get burnt on the outside, and once it's cooked all the way through, the high heat makes it crispy on the outside layer. Perfect blend, especially goes for steaks. So good!
Ps. color of chicken != cooking level. They can be pink and still be cooked properly. It needs to be checked with a thermometer or bounce. Color can just be from seeping from bones etc.
7 minutes is not enough for those thick burgers. It should be 7 minutes FOR EACH SIDE!
Anyone know if this puts out a lot of heat? Looking for inside a small RV
Good for a semi??
What they don't tell you is if something break s there are no part s you can buy.
As soon a he started to dehydrate then i got a ad
I don't like the chicken in the grill either. It seems like everytime I cook chicken on the grill it is too done. I prefer to cook in the oven. Steaks on the other hand usually come out great.
You can get the grill and basket in if you flip grill upside down and put it in
We just got one a couple of weeks ago on sale for 129.00. So far I love it. As for cooking times, it may be that they are trying to err on the side of caution. They don't want to be responsible for people eating undercooked food. I am also impressed with how easily it cleans up. And yes, it is large and a little on the heavier side. Still love using it though.
what is the best indoor smokeless grill in 2024????
Just bought my Ninja Foodi grill. I agree the cook times are incorrect in the guide. once you get past the timing learning curve, I love it. I've been using it 2-3 times a day. To deal with the fat drippings during grilling, when it's time to add the meat, I lift the grill out, and put in a parchment paper 9×9 "bowl". put the grill back on, add the meat and get to grilling. When done, i then take the grill out, lift the grease filled parchment bowl out. quick wipe with a paper towel, then put in the air fry crisper basket, and off I go. quick easy clean and no smoke 🙂
😂 I was watching this on silent to see if it’s worth rewatching with sound. As soon as I saw him cut the meet I knew it was USA
That steak is mooing
ANNOYING, VERY ANNOYING
Bless you bless you. You are the first YouTuber with enough humanity and forethought to block out the one thing that sends me into an embarrassing seething rage. Chewing does come in 2nd next to on screen kissing noises. That makes my skin crawl. 2:57
Why u guys eat the meat so red? Thats how u get some food poisoning
Hi. New subscriber here. Wondering if you use oil or water when grilling your steaks or frying your fries?
When you're grilling fatty meats put some tin foil in the bottom… easy peasy cleanup.
I still use a George Foreman grill and I routinely cook chicken breast to 170~180 degrees and it's still super juicy and delicious. However, the trick I use is to put aluminum foil on the grill surfaces before cooking, which also makes for easy cleanup.
Thank you for reviewing this….but you didnt mention, how easy is it to clean it after using it….
Cooking times are approximate. Each piece of food is different. Just check with thermometer. No big deal
We've been using ours for years and we love it. I've made steaks pork chops and chicken and it works great. It perfect for the kids too when they want chicken nuggets or mini corn dogs. I use it probably 4 days a week.
time for the REAL QUESTION. Did you immediately fish that booklet from under your stove after filming? Or did you procrastinate. Either way, find any treasure under there?
I have this air fryer and so far it's my favorite for cleaning, heat and ease of use. Out of the many I have tried, this takes the cake so far.
So this is a convection oven or air fryer as people like to believe is a thing because marketing.
So it is basically a over glorified toaster oven
How was the cleaning process? Was it easy, or did you had a hard time really getting it cleaned properly?
Was it 'clean every time you use' kind of grill? I guess it would be magic otherwise…
Maybe your times were off because the grill is already hot
I haven’t seen a chicken breast be the same size
Nicer than a t-bone steak? You do know that's just a New York strip and tenderloin, right?
If folks don't like the sound of chewing then why watch a video reviewing a food product?
Sone people will bitch about everything.
Chicken breast dries out very quickly, but I would never cook chicken from frozen, it’s too risky. I thaw the chick in the fridge before cooking, then I use the foolproof method for juicy chicken breast. Using a saucepan with a good lid, cover the chicken with cold water and bring to the boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and remove from the heat to a heatproof surface. Leave the pot untouched for thirty minutes, then remove the chick breast and enjoy with your favourite sauce or gravy, or use in sandwiches.
I prefer to steam my vegies, they keep more of their nutrients.
It always amazes me to see Americans using cutlery! Blimey!
Eating undercooked meat is gross.
You literally saved my life. I got one of these at a garage sale this weekend brand new, but no instructions or paperwork.
But it's Freakin' Reviews to the rescue! Thank you, thank you so much! I love your channel – you present yourself very well, and your submissions are always entertaining.
Excellent review thank you so much. I’m a long haul truck driver I was on the fence about buying one of these. One minor point “my own personal opinion” I would not object to overcooking chicken or pork. I would rather overcook by a minute or two rather than undercooked
Would also like to see clean up!
Got a smaller version of this for Christmas. I use it ALL the time. It's true that the cooking times are way too long in the manual. I really do recommend this and mine only cost about 100 dollars. After maybe 100 uses for both air fry and grill, still works perfectly, the nonstick is top notch when cleaning. And if you clean after every use, I've never seen smoke.
I feel like the instructions passed by a lawyer before release making sure stuff is never raw.
I have no problems with my ninja foodie grill love it
I’m diggin those sunglasses
I can not live without this air fryer, 99% of my cooking it’s on it…..love this ninja. Because I am bargain shopper o got it with combined coupons and discount for $85 plus tax….brilliant.
There is no counterspace in my kitchen that does not have upper cabinets so I am wondering what is the measurement of the unit with the lid open. Would it fit under the cabinets above the countertop?
Enjoy your raw meat.
De Buyer carbon steel pans , can't beat em ( just saying ) !
Did you ever do a follow up review for this after a year?
I have had this for a while now and I absolutely love it
