  1. Love watching your videos. I tried this last night but slightly messed up.
Here’s why ….. I tried to set the temp to 250 but it would only go to 210 on smoker, then set temp probe in meat to 125.
An hour later the temperature of the meat was only 75 !!!!

Only then did I realise you are talking Fahrenheit and my ninja was centigrade !!!
    Lesson learnt. 😂😂😂

  2. Ok i just purchased this. So far, it’s stewing more than grilling. I did steak and used woodfire. Had great flavor but no sear. Got any suggestions? I did preheat and used thermometer.
Maybe i need to press into the grates like you showed. Great video!

  3. Hey CJ, first Merry Christmas to you and yours. Just did my first tomahawk per your video and it came out great. I used a rub I use on ribs and bbq, the only problem was the meat tasted salty. Should I skip the kosher salt next time?

  4. I’m in the Uk waiting for the xl pro to be discounted I’ve given my Weber genesis to my daughter I’ve already got the Weber blue tooth probes no good for the rotisserie I can’t find the discription can you give me the brand of the probes

  5. Just bought the temp spike on Amazon using you discount code for 30% off Amazon is running a coupon also for an extra 10% off so I got it for $49.78 from $79.99 thanks for the code about to smoke and reverse grill a tomahawk also

  6. Amazing videos Good Sir… but I have to say, those fat caps on the edge of the steaks were BEGGING to be seared a little bit too, just to get a light crisp on 'em. lol 😀 Anyway, keep up the great work! 🙂

  7. Hi Cj! This was my first meal on the wood fire grill. My wife and I thought the smoke was too much and had a weird taste. I then saw your tips video after and see you now recommend putting the meat in after the grill is ready. Just wondering if you can ad a disclaimer in this video. Don't want anyone to be disappointed with a Tomahawk like we were. It's not your fault, we’re just not used to intense smoke… Yet. Keep up the good work! Love the content.

  8. One thing about my wife's Ninja Foodie grill is that it grills hella-fast. I'm the stick-burner / pellet-grill guy. She's got so much Ninja crap, that I felt it would be no problem for me to buy this new Ninja smoker offering -under the guise of taking it with us when we RV. Did burgers and dogs on it, yesterday and things turned out perfectly. Will be trying out a rack of pork-ribs next.

Yes, I did push my luck ordering the optional griddle, table-stand, combo basket, cover & tote-bag. Ya see….she was so happy that we got a tax refund this year, I just slipped those extras in while she was still euphoric. Now, I can get rid of my Blackstone and my table-top kamado (formerly used for RV'ing. I am into simplicity now and this Ninja is a do-it-all for her & I.
