HI !
Vlasic is by far my favorite baby pickle though admittedly the spear are not so crisp.
I'm a Mt. Olive guy.
Claussen pickles ALL THE WAY. Their fresh taste is unbeatable.
Claussens are my personal favorite
Claussen is definitely the best, I'm not sure why it was excluded. Boars Head is good but it's 2nd behind Claussen
Boar's Head 🔥🔥🔥
Next to an authentic, out of the crock/barrel/whatever pickle (homemade), Claussen is the best – cold, crispy, garlicky, briney- end of story – done
Real pickle lovers know claussen is the winner.
Could the "soupy" flavor be from the turmeric? I see Mt. Olive uses turmeric, as is common practice for color of course. Maybe it has a little bit more than its contemporaries.
Is there a reason you didn't review Claussen's. They are a lot better than Boar's Head. What's the matter? They didn't pay you?
I’m going to try boars head, but if you want a good pickle, get the ones in the plastic containers
My father used to love Bellview kosher baby dills! You could see all the pickling spices in the jar! Try finding a pickling spice in today's pickles! Better off making your own!
Vlasic is excellent.
Soft pickles are never good.
Grillo’s make the best fresh pickles!
They are comparing apples to oranges here – you can’t expect a shelf stable pickle to compete in color and crunch with a refrigerator pickle – also most of the “food coloring” used in pickles is turmeric which is good for you.
THANK YOU! When I was growing up (ok, the 70s) Vlassic was awesome. It is crap now
I have never seen boars head in any store
They left out the one that would’ve really won….claussen
Bu** Sh**, Mt Olive is the best Dill Pickle. Boar’s Head deli meats, sure, but Boar’s Head Dill Pickles, never heard of or saw them before this video.
Gus's pickles on the lower east side in Manhattan New York.
Had them al the greatest dill I have ever found is Milwaukee dills to hunt out you will not be sorry
I think this test and the omission of addressing Claussen reflects the northeast-USA bias of the show, but also their time constraints. This is not the first test I've seen where the testing and presentation of results disregards regional variation in brand availability. (But, I'll add, that sometimes they do a bit in that direction.) This test was a miss.
How can they leave out Grillo's? the best pickle ever. And talk about a garlic hit…
I agree on the 2 looser but have never tried Boars Head. I am a Clausen fan…
Once again they leave out most peoples choice Clausen.
Boars head are good
Often buy Boars Head products. Usually a little more expensive but worth it. Their meats are terrific.
Ba-Tampte makes the best pickles!
Can’t get boars head where I live, I can get and buy mt olive.
Boar's Head may be good, but Claussen is in my fridge.
MRS. FANNINGS BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES ARE THE BEST!👌
(but hard to find)
The first jar of Claussen I bought, I swore I'd never buy anything else. The second jar I bought tasted like just cucumbers in water. They can be inconsistent, but they can be amazing. I hated Mt Olive; super super soft. I mostly buy baby dills because they're usually much more crisp than spears.
Uh, yeah they lost me when they said that Vlasic was the "worst". Pickles aren't just supposed to be crunchy. Nothing beats the acidity of Vlasic pickles IMO.
I will eat an entire jar of dill pickles while watching TV in the evening and also drink the brine. Yum!
Does anyone know why Vlasic is now selling 16 oz of Polish dill spears in a 24 oz jar ???
The first thing I do when I open a bottle of spears is to put them in a much more narrow jar.
I have noticed recently that when I do this now, there are no extra pickles left over in the larger jar.
Why are they still selling these pickles in a much larger jar than they need ? I don't need all this extra pickle juice.
The jar is literally 50% bigger than it needs to be and is also annoying to try and fit in our refrigerator door.

My favorite pickles are still Food Clubs pickles. They aren't as salty and have the best taste.
Ba-Tampte 👍🏻
Q: What happened when Jesus went to Mount Olive?
A: Popeye almost killed him.
I usually buy Claussen but just found Boar's Head today. I think I might actually like Boar's Head more! There's more garlic flavor. Claussen seems to have a lighter taste. Both are truly excellent, though – fresh and crisp.
If you Google Boar's Head Kosher pickles there are no links .. The company doesn't seem to exist .. Did they go out of business or were the bought out ?
Boars head are far too expensive, I feed a family. It's going to stay Mount olive for me! A family company in the U S A.!!!!
My mouth was watering during the entire video!!!!!
I’ve been making my own for years. But Boars Head are really good. Claussen’s is a solid second choice.
Claussen is my favorite. Haven’t even seen Boar’s Head in the stores, but I bet they’re wonderful.
You need to try Grillo's Pickles sold in Costco!
My favorite is Claussen.
