I still love you guys, but i miss Christoper. He would have made a remark how the worst anchovies taste like something used on bad pizza.
Oh I love anchovies. I enjoy the variation in anchovies, as well as the uncured cooked in the jar type of anchovy including white anchovies.
no idea what i think
This lady is amazing
Thank You
The Cento anchovies are a gift from the heavens. I guess I understand why some people might not be as into them as I am but I vividly remember the first time I had them. My life was changed forever.
LOL! Hilarious how he is talking and she is just eating anchovies left and right, and not even paying attention to which is which.
Wild Planet is my choice. I’ve just discovered them, and love them. I’m not really a salt person, so this is perfect for me.
Wild Oscar’s salty asf. Funny cuz it’s white people.
I'm Asian and we eat a lot of fish sauce so i prefer Centos.
With the canned one, how long do you have to use it after opening?
And thats why the King is the king
I usually buy anchovy paste for my Caesar Salad Dressing, but think that I will use the anchovies that you recommended and make my own paste.
wow never had anchovies in my life. Got to get out and live a little
I bought Cento brand and they are really salty for my taste. I’ll have to try King Oscar brand.
How about the brand Napoleon? Is it similar to King Oscar?
Interesting! I have anchovies in my cupboard. Abd a husband who would never touch them!
i wish we knew more about the oil in each brand there are so many counterfeit olive oils…would love to see reviews of anchovies in water…
I like Cento anchovies the most because they have the most assertive flavor. I put them on my homemade pepperoni pizzas.
Great pantry item. I like to saute garlic in EVOO, sprinkle in some chili flakes, squeeze in some tomato paste, mix them all together and then deglaze the pan with white wine. I then toss in some anchovies, cherry tomatoes, olives and chopped cilantro. Then I plop in a load of al dente pasta and finish with Parmesan. Yummers!
I think Cento is fine.
