David Wade’s BBQ Sauce Recipe
15 oz. Ketchup
1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
1/4 Cup Red Wine Vinegar
2 Tbsp Liquid Smoke
2 Tbsp Steak Sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Powder
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Black Pepper
4 Drops Hot Pepper Sauce
1 Tbsp Dry Powdered Mustard
2 tsp Garlic Powder
Stir in all of the ingredients into a saucepan and heat until mixture is bubbling. Turn down to simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Pour mixture over your pork which has been placed into a baking dish. Bake covered at 400F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until pork is tender. Uncover pork and continue baking 15 minutes or until bbq sauce is set up on the pork. Flip pork over and continue baking another 15 minutes or until bbq sauce is set up on that side. Pull pork from the oven and let cool 10 – 15 minutes. Enjoy!!!

I'm making BBQ pork chops tonight as well. I came on YouTube to find a good recipe and came across yours first…and don't think I need to look any further. Thanks so much.. I do think that I'm going to add a little coke and bourbon to my BBQ sauce just to "tweak" it up a little as you said…and because personally I love bourbon sauces. I'll let you know how it turned out. Thanks so much. 🙂

Those look amazing 😳😳😳
O to the M to the G. I just made these chops and they are definitely THE BOMB.my hubby said not to make them again, though bc he cannot get the pan clean. My mom said they taste just like hers. You said to tweak, but really the only thing I tweaked was to put in some onion to the sauce, bc mom always did. She couldn't recall how she made hers years ago so thank you so much for posting this. They were a big hit at my house. We had fried taters, brown beans with the chops. My fried potatoes are to die for too. One night when you are having baked potatoes throw a few extra in for frying the next day. Slice them when cold and fry. The skin gets crispy, so good. We like our golden to almost burned so some get really crunchy. Don't cut too thin so they don't fall apart but not to thick either. Thanks again for the recipe and the memories for my mom.
Love your measuring, that's the way I do it.
Looks really good
